Leché has a special interest in the benefits of mindfulness when working with mood disorders & stress. She also has an interest in teaching mindfulness to children as a means of regulating behaviour and to parents as a means of fostering increased connection with their children. In addition to mindfulness, Leché works therapeutically with individuals and systems facing a variety of concerns and has also gained experience in neuropsychological assessments and EMDR. Leché comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of psychology and has been in practice for more than 15 years.

Maree Watkins

Maree Watkins

Counselling Psychologist, DipEdu III (Jun. Prim.) DSE (Remedial) BA BA (Hons) MA (Couns. Psych.)

Maree Watkins is an ex- junior primary and remedial teacher who after becoming a mother herself became especially interested in children’s emotional and psychological development and well-being and the need for healthy couple relationships as crucial building blocks for secure and stable families and future well-adjusted adults.

She pursued her undergrad and postgrad studies for 9 years and finally graduated as psychologist in 2002. She does therapy with pre-teens, adolescents, adults, and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples. Maree also works with those dealing with stress, trauma, grief, depression and loss. She is also a qualified EMDR therapist. She is also the author of The 1st Family Feelings Guide (2016. Austin Macauley Publishers), and creator of the Feelings Clock.

She enjoys integrating her creativity with her knowledge and experience as an ex-teacher, as psychologist for more than 20 years, and as a wife and mother for over 30 years.

Stephanie often works closely with psychologists when in-depth assessment of a situation is needed, especially when diagnosis needs to be made. Employing the services of a psychometrist often makes the assessment process more affordable.
